Data We Collect

We collect details you provide directly, including resume content, work experience, role descriptions, account details (name, email), and payment details for premium subscriptions. We also collect usage metrics and insights to improve the service.

How We Use Your Data

We use this data to provide and improve our AI career tools, process payments via Stripe, send transactional emails via Resend, personalise your experience, and communicate service updates. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Security Measures

All traffic is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Your resume and career content is stored securely in our systems.

Sub-Processors and Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party service providers to operate Selectly: OpenAI (AI content generation), ElevenLabs (voice interview simulation), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), Neon (database hosting), Google (OAuth sign-in), and Replit (hosting infrastructure). Overseas Disclosure (APP 8)

Selectly discloses personal information to overseas recipients including OpenAI, Anthropic, ElevenLabs, Neon, Resend, Replit, Stripe, and Google — all based in the United States. These countries may not have privacy laws equivalent to Australia's Privacy Act 1988. Selectly takes reasonable steps to ensure each recipient does not breach the Australian Privacy Principles through contractual data processing agreements. By using Selectly, you consent to this disclosure under APP 8.2(a). If you do not consent, please contact us at help@selectlyai.com.

Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time from your account settings. You may also request a copy of your records or withdraw consent for processing. Australian residents have rights under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
